Vernon

Vernon has three lakes and a ski hill, and it consistently gives buyers more house for the money than Kelowna does. That's the pitch, and it works on people relocating who have done the drive and realised it's forty minutes. Predator Ridge and the Okanagan Landing side are their own markets. So is the older housing stock closer to downtown.

Vernon has one of the largest inventories in the valley and a median price well under Kelowna's, which is the comparison relocating buyers are already making. Single family values in the North Okanagan held up this year while condos softened.

Buyers comparing Vernon to Kelowna are doing it on price per square foot. Make that comparison easy for them.
