Armstrong is nestled in the beautiful Spallumcheen valley just a 15 minute drive north of Vernon. It is the home of world famous Armstrong cheese and has a strong commercial, industrial and agricultural economy.

The Spallumcheen Valley is one of the finest agricultural areas in the province of British Columbia with many diverse farms. Each year Armstrong hosts the Interior Provincial Exhibition (IPE) in late August. The IPE is the largest agricultural fair in the province and attracts many visitors.
This friendly city gives its residents a fine quality of life. Armstrong's amenities include a Performing Arts Theatre, Arena, Swimming Pool, Parks, 4 Public Schools, Museum and Arts Centre, Senior Citizen Centres and a Youth Centre. The Community is serviced by the Regional Transit System, making travel to and from the City easy and affordable. Armstrong is growing and welcomes those wishing to invest, to build or to live in the City.
There is a vibrant commercial sector, and residential and commercial lands available for development, all backed up by an excellent supply of water and a state of the art liquid waste management plan.
The area around Armstrong provides many attractions for the visitor or resident. Silver Star Mountain provides world class downhill and cross country skiing. Trails for snowmobiling, horseback riding and hiking are plentiful in the surrounding hills. Just outside Armstrong, at the northern tip of Lake Okanagan you find the O'Keefe ranch and the Spallumcheen Golf course. The O'Keefe ranch is an award winning historic park that offers a look back to the Okanagan's history and many family events throughout the year.
Armstrong's new arena is home to
the North Okanagan Knights minor hockey teams.
